Video Wall Controller

The PanoTek® DWC-1200 is a powerful yet surprisingly compact 2RU controller system for video walls requiring up to 18 signal outputs. The DWC‑1200 can present a mix of hardware captured inputs, IP video streams and other content with fully flexible layout control. This model offers 4K capabilty end-to-end, and is ideally suited for smaller control rooms, collaboration spaces, lecture theatres, projector arrays and multi-screen digital signage.

The DWC‑1200 can present a mix of hardware captured inputs, IP video streams and other content with fully flexible layout control. This model offers 4K capability end-to-end, and is ideally suited for smaller control rooms, collaboration spaces, lecture theatres, projector arrays and multi-screen digital signage. Supplied in an industrial-quality rack mount system chassis, the DWC-1200 is supplied as a pre-tested, ready-to-run system configured to the end-customer's specific requirements.

Visual content from captured video sources, IP video streams, user desktops and local assets can be positioned and scaled anywhere on the entire wall canvas without being constrained by individual screen boundaries. In this respect, PanoTek DWC solutions are demonstrably superior to conventional matrix-style switches and scalers.

The DWC-1200 includes our "basic" edition wall control software as the default ordering configuration. Alternate software options and more powerful software editions are available as ordering options. The Standard and Pro editions provide additional and compelling control, presentation and enterprise features. The control software allows the wall to be controlled from multiple points, including from both desktops and tablet devices, and can be integrated with AMX® if required.

The DWC-1200 is fitted with redundant cassette power supplies and front-accessible hot swap storage configured in RAID-1 mirror array, making the ideal choice for mission-critical applications such as security monitoring, process control, operations management, emergency coordination and high impact retail.

IP Video Stream Decode

Multi-stream H.264 decoding with dedicated 1000BaseT LAN port
This option co-exists with the video capture option above.

IP Video Stream Encode

Multi-stream H.264 encoding
This option supplements the stream decode option and shares the same dedicated LAN port.

Video Features

Hardware Frame Lock

Synchronization of multiple outputs provides tear-free display of captured video sources across multiple displays.

Bezel Management

Compensate for display bezels for more realistic video presentation across multiple screens.

Edge Overlap

Simplify multi-projector edge blending by adjusting the number of overlapping pixels between edge blending projectors to create seamless, unified images.

Compositing

Captured sources can be alpha blended, color keyed, cropped, rotated, mirrored1 and flipped.

Scaling

Advanced MultiTap Video Scaling Engine for 4K to SD multichannel downscaling and SD to 4K multi-channel upscaling.

HDCP Compliance

Support for HDCP is planned, but is not currently available on this model.
This feature is available on the DWC-2400 and DWC-5600.

Audio

Audio Routing

Audio signals from IPX HDMI inputs and decoded H.264 streams are routed through the operating system’s audio subsystem.
(Feature available by firmware upgrade 2017).
